Mrs. Linda Newcomb
Secretary/
Receptionist
Linda’s parents moved to Orlando
from Export, Pennsylvania when she was five years old. They were instrumental in the establishment of First
Alliance’s daughter church 1966.
Linda and her husband, Louie, were the first couple to be
married at the new church building. They served as youth sponsors, quiz coaches and in other
capacities. One of the youth was Chuck Hughes (now DS!).
In 1986, the Lord directed Linda into a law enforcement
civilian job. Soon, she became a deputy sheriff with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. In 1992, after
celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, Louie went home to be with the Lord after a brief battle
with cancer. The Lord’s direction had provided Linda with a way to continue to support her family. In
2006, she retired from the Sheriff’s Office and began working part time in the Southeastern District
office.
Linda has four children, Laura, Mark, Michael and Jeffrey,
two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law and seven adorable grandchildren.
