Kids Kamp is about having a great time as you get to know Jesus Christ better and make friends.
We believe that Kids Kamp is a disciple making opportunity for adults as well as children. We want children to experience the person of Jesus Christ through the lives of their counselors and the program staff in a secure setting away from home. This encounter with Christ is accomplished through the presentation of God's Word in chapel and a missions challenge time as well as in the cabin, dining rooms, and various activities throughout the day as demonstrated by the lives of those who are there to serve the children. Sometimes the children themselves are the best opportunity for other children to meet Jesus. There is no other setting outside the home that provides such an in depth, 24/7 encounter in a controlled environment that is designed to stretch a child's maturity level and faith.
We provide training and on the job experience for adults to learn how to lead children to Christ, help them deal with issues in their lives, and to grow healthily in Christ. Kids Kamp is a great place for younger Christians as well as seasoned veterans to grow, serve, and multiply themselves into the lives of others.
We have watched God work in the lives of our adult counselors over the years as well as our children campers. This is a great way to make disciples of all ages: kids, teens, and adults.
