Missions
Mobilization
We seek to assist our district
churches in fulfilling their part in the Great Commission by resourcing, training, and encouraging.
For your annual missions
emphasis, your church can choose either to be…
“on the
tour”- The district assigns the dates of your conference and the missionary speaker(s), or
“on our own” (a.k.a.
Freedom Tour)- You plan your missionary conference at the best time in your calendar with the
missionary speakers you would like to have. Coaches are assigned to your church missions
mobilization leader. An updated list of missions speakers is available at office@sedcma.org
Whichever path you choose,
please join us for the next Alliance Missions 2011 Orientation Web Meeting to be announced in the eLink
to all official workers.

Continuing with the Open
Doors theme, the 2010-2011 Missions Conference highlights God’s call from Isaiah 61:1—The Spirit of
the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor, bind up the
broken hearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Be sure to use
the materials sent to your church by the C&MA, and the resources on
www.cmalliance.org.
Pray! Give! Serve! These sum up our response to the Spirit’s call to
finish the task. Find further resources on the download
pages of our website.
The Faith Promise has been used since the beginning of our movement by our people to express their intentions
to support the Great Commission Fund of the C&MA. These have been sent to your church, and this year you
can insert a
customized intention.
Partnerships personalize missions as churches
link up with Alliance fields overseas. International partners benefit as your church joins their vision
and supports them personally, spiritually, and financially. Your church benefits as you become directly involved in
God’s work with them.
Many have found the benefits of
short term trips. We encourage our churches to consider visiting an Alliance mission
field. The C&MA Short Term Missions
Office is prepared to assist both
youth and adults in arranging trips with missional purpose.
